As the deadline draws closer, I keep looking and looking at the criteria. I still have not thought much about it. The layouts would be no problem - but the practical off-the-page project? Ummm....do scrapping and "practical" belong in the same sentence??? Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

I tell you Tanya, the OTP was the hardest thing to think of!
I just finished my single, so I am quite happy about that. I will be doing more of my double tonight and hopefully finish my OTP on the weekend. I just want to get it done and on it's way!

OTP is why I have never even tried!
Me and OTP just do not get along I HATE IT!!!
Then I think and what do I do with it after I hate having that type of stuff around to collect dust!

I agree....as much as I admire other people's OTP and think I would like to have a go at it, I find that I really hate sanding and painting etc...

....and then when it's finished it all goes away into a box, never to be seen again LOL Laughing

But good luck with the Masters girls...I know your work will be fabulous Smile

OTPs are for me a personal type of thing - especially because I may do so for my grandchildren, so I don't want that in a magazine.

So OTP BYTP for a mag is kind of difficult, as if you were doing for yourself it would be easier - but to do for/and please the critics for mag you would have to kind of please the readers so to speak !!

Good luck girls Smile

I hate doing OTPs aswell! Every one I have done for Masters has never been used in the way it was intended. In other words I have thrown them all out once I have got them back. I was telling my scrapping buddy Sarah and she made me promise if I win (HA! Not %^%*&% likely!) that I will actually hang my project on the wall. I can see me pulling all the good stuff off when I get it back and chucking the rest in the bin! Laughing

Good luck to all those entering. That is the only reason why I am not considering in entering, don't think I could come up with anything practical that hasn't been thought of all ready and there is a size limitation...

Hope you give it a go Tanya Smile Beth good luck, I always love seeing what you do come up with because you are so inventive Wink

Well, my entry is gone! I drove it in on wednesday. I am glad it has gone. I spent so much time on it, I really am glad to see the back of it!

The good thing about the competition this year is that they are notifying the winners on 10 September, so it is not the long excrutiating wait. Less than month away! But then you have to sign a confidentiality agreement. It's a small trade off for finding out earlier I think!

Good luck Beth!!!

I was going to enter this year, but the way I've been feeling about my scrapping and the not so nice outcomes of my layouts lately, I felt that not entering would be better than not having to confirm my work aint good enough from them LOL!

I'm not putting myself down, just know that at the moment I am not producing my best work. I've lost the mojo LOL!

Good luck to everyone entering Smile
